Temporary Cleaner (4-Week Assignment)
Near Battle, East Sussex
£15.00 per hour plus holiday pay (£16.81 per hour including accrued holiday pay)
Recruitment South East are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a prestigious private school located near Battle, East Sussex, who are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join their team on a temporary basis for an initial 4-week assignment, with an immediate start available.
Due to the rural location of the school, candidates must have their own transport and be able to commute reliably.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cleaner who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys working within a professional educational environment.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 3:00pm - 7:00pm
- 20 hours per week
- 4-week temporary assignment
- Immediate start available
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining five classrooms within the Pre-Prep department
- Cleaning a nursery room and kindergarten room to a high standard
- Cleaning and sanitising three sets of toilets and changing facilities
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting designated areas
- Emptying bins and ensuring all areas remain tidy and presentable
- Replenishing cleaning supplies where required
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintaining the high standards expected within a private school environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Must have previous cleaning experience to a high standard
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage their workload effectively
- Current DBS
- Professional, presentable and dependable
- Comfortable working within a school environment
- Full driving licence and own transport essential due to the rural location
This position is available for an immediate start, and interviews/site visits can be arranged at short notice for suitable candidates.
