Construction Manager (12 month FTC) – Overview

We are working with one of the UK’s leading technical and energy services providers who specialise in major decarbonisation and net zero solution projects within the commercial and public sector. They are looking for a Construction or Site Manager to come on board on a 12 month fixed term contract, covering two projects in the North East.

The end client is a hospital trust in the North East who are a long standing client of the business. They are delivering two upgrade projects under the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme however they have sub-contracted the M&E delivery packages to another area of the group. Your role in both packages will be to Site Manage and deliver the Civilis, Scaffolding and Building Works packages.

The projects are running back to back as opposed to simultaneously. Works at the first site will begin in August and will run through to January time, with the other site starting in February and running through to next August. There is a third site that may also be added so the contract has the potential to run over into 18 months, or, turn into a permanent role if you should wish.

Experience in delivering civils, scaffolding and building works packages is essential and it would be ideal if you also had experience working in live environments such as hospitals and have experienced the complexities this can bring. You will need your SMSTS and transport with ability to commute to Hexham and Cramlington.
