We’re recruiting for an experienced Data Scientist to join a high-impact public sector project based in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity to work on data-driven initiatives that support critical services and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy machine learning and AI models to solve complex business problems
- Analyse large datasets to generate actionable insights
- Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
- Build and maintain data pipelines and predictive models
- Present findings clearly to support strategic decisions
- Proven experience working as a Data Scientist within the public sector
- Strong expertise in AI and machine learning techniques
- Proficiency in Python/R and relevant data science libraries
- Experience with data manipulation, modelling, and visualisation
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into insights
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance in public sector environments
