£425 - £550/day Outside IR35

My client is a leading civil engineering contractor who is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a major highways scheme in Birmingham, with an immediate start available.

Project Manager Responsibilities:


• Managing the successful delivery of highways and infrastructure works from inception through to completion
• Leading site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners
• Maintaining strong client relationships and acting as the main point of contact
• Ensuring health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are met at all times
• Monitoring project programmes and ensuring works are delivered on time and within budget
• Managing project costs, forecasting, and reporting on project performance
• Coordinating resources, materials, plant, and labour requirements
• Overseeing risk management, method statements, and project documentation
• Chairing progress meetings and providing regular updates to stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with contract requirements and company procedures

Project Manager Requirements:


• SMSTS qualification
• CSCS card
• Previous experience delivering highways, roads, or major infrastructure projects
• Strong civil engineering background with a proven track record in project delivery
• Excellent client-facing and leadership skills
• Good commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets
• IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Office and project management software
• Full UK driving licence
