Salary: £44,000 - £50,000

Reporting to: Operations Manager (Operations Team - Group Level)

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join a well-established operations team within a leading fire and security services group. This is a key role responsible for delivering multiple projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will play a central role in coordinating site activity, managing teams, and acting as the key link between internal departments, clients, and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Delivery- Develop and manage detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Oversee RAMS, scheduling, and all project activities to ensure alignment with delivery objectives
- Track project progress and make adjustments to maintain successful outcomes
- Maintain accurate project documentation including contract variations and asset updates
- Lead and support project teams, providing clear direction and motivation
- Allocate tasks effectively to ensure optimal use of resources
- Run regular team meetings to review progress, resolve issues, and maintain momentum
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and senior stakeholders
- Provide clear and regular project updates, including risks, issues, and solutions
- Maintain strong professional relationships across all levels
- Ensure all works comply with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and codes of practice
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures across all projects
- Carry out regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Manage project budgets and ensure all costs are tracked and controlled
- Work closely with procurement and suppliers to achieve best value
- Optimise resource planning to maximise efficiency and reduce waste
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
- Maintain contingency planning for unforeseen challenges
- Proactively manage issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Audit engineer timesheets and overtime records
- Carry out vehicle checks and compliance monitoring
- Support stock procurement, allocation, and query resolution
- Minimum 5 years' experience in project management (fire & security or related industry preferred)
- Proven track record of delivering projects from start to finish
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Positive telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively across multiple departments
- Ideally Security Cleared (BAE or equivalent), though not essential
- Must be willing to undergo relevant security screening
- Full UK driving licence required
- Ability to travel to project sites as required
