About DFDS

At DFDS, we keep Europe moving through a wide range of freight services from ferry to complex logistics and transport solutions. Moving to Green

The transport and logistics sector contributes approximately 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions annually, making it the second-largest source of emissions after electricity and heating. In 2021, we launched the "Sustainable Fleet Projects" initiative, and by June 2023, we formed a dedicated Decarbonisation Team to ensure alignment across all company-wide decarbonisation efforts. Their mission is to define strategies, set targets, and establish the roadmap to net-zero. This involves managing a diverse portfolio of technical, commercial, and operational projects aimed at achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. To offer sustainable transport and logistics is not just something our customers are asking for - it is also the right thing to do for the good of our planet.
