About us

Beyond Limits Learning & Wellbeing is an Alternative Provision service based in Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. We provide one-to-one and small group education for children and young people who cannot access mainstream school. Our approach blends academic support with therapeutic mentoring, wellbeing, and creative learning, helping every learner build confidence, resilience, and skills for life.

Founded by a qualified therapist and coach with years of experience in education and youth support, Beyond Limits works with learners who may be neurodivergent, have SEMH needs, or require a more personalised, flexible pathway. Our tutors are carefully chosen for their empathy, adaptability, and creativity, as well as their subject knowledge. We work closely with parents, carers, schools, and local authorities to ensure every learner has the right support.

Therapeutic-first approach: All of our sessions are trauma-informed, person-centred, and designed to support emotional wellbeing alongside learning.

Flexibility: We deliver sessions in community venues, at home, or in our learning hubs, adapting to the needs of each learner.

Pathways that matter: From Functional Skills and GCSE preparation to iDEA Awards, Arts Award, and vocational/creative projects, we create routes that feel relevant and motivating.

Trusted by local authorities: We are an approved provider for Nottinghamshire County Council, working in partnership with SEND, Virtual Schools, and Fair Access teams.

Human touch: We don’t just teach – we mentor, inspire, and help learners rediscover the joy of learning.
