Location: Reading, Berkshire (2 sites, including an Early Years setting)
Salary: £32,916 (M1) – £51,048 (U3) + SEN 1 Allowance

We are supporting a highly regarded specialist SEN school in Reading to appoint a PMLD Teacher. The school operates across two sites, one of which focuses on Early Years, and delivers specialist provision for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.

The Role
- Teaching pupils with PMLD and complex additional needs
- Delivering highly personalised, sensory-based learning programmes
- Supporting communication, physical development, and life skills
- Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and senior leaders
- Implementing EHCP outcomes and personalised learning plans
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience teaching pupils with PMLD or complex needs
- Strong understanding of sensory and therapeutic approaches
- Calm, patient, and reflective teaching style
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- £32,916 – £51,048 + SEN 1 allowance
