Due to a recent retirement, a manufacturing business in Rochdale is looking for a Night Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer. Working in a fast paced manufacturing environment you will be carrying out maintenance and fault finding on PLC's, machine control systems, inverters, drives and mechanical systems. Due to the 24hr manufacturing operation, there will be some reactive maintenance for breakdowns, as well as scheduled activities to carry out.

Requirements

  • Apprenticeship background
  • Additional electrical qualifications are desireable
  • Strong skills in control system fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Happy to work night shifts permanently
