Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Handsworth for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a full-time teaching role with full classroom responsibility, continuing for two terms. The school is seeking a passionate practitioner who can create an engaging learning environment and positively contribute to the wider school community.

The Role:
Teaching a KS1 class on a full-time basis
Full planning, preparation and marking responsibilities
Delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
Monitoring pupil progress and supporting attainment
Working collaboratively with staff, parents and senior leaders


The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have recent experience teaching within KS1
Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Be committed, reliable and enthusiastic about primary education
Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
